We went up to winterize and mark our systems today- we had about 6-8″ of snow in the tract! There are PGE contractors working there and taking down trees along the power lines. It was a beautiful, and chilly, day in the tract. The snow softens everything up. The river is running very high- like they must have opened it at Echo- it is just roaring. If you decide to go up, make sure you have a 4wd. Its very muddy, wet, icy and slippery. I posted some new pics on the website and forwarded the NFH invitation. Also, you should have gotten a call from the USFS and will be getting a letter this week. Please read the post from Saturday morning for more details.
