No update on clean up- the forest supervisor is out until 1/17 and the tract leadership team hopes to have a meeting with all the pertinent folks in a few weeks.

Tax implications-special tax rules related to the Caldor Fire are still being decided.  However, there is a tract leader meeting with NFH and Meredith from NFH will give Doug Gann, the President a heads up to see if there are any tips or guidelines for us to talk to our tax people about.  We will also be asking about a tax professional that has experience dealing with destroyed USFS cabins.

We will ask the Franchise Tax Board to attend one of our meetings- apparently they give presentations to groups.

There was some discussion about reaching out to the federal electeds.  It seems that they are well aware of the challenges with clean up.  We will continue to work with the local office here and then reach out to the federal offices if needed.
